SELF ASSESSMENT: Processes and Procedures in the Art Room (Sample Journal Entry)

While doing the Color wheel assignment on (date) May 10, 2012 I learned about the different types of color wheels and different color. The different types of color wheels are Traditional, Subtractive, and Additive.  The following steps were followed from the beginning to the end of the project.  First I had to open a blank copy of the color wheel to photoshop. Second I watched a video which helped me with placing the colors on the wheel. Lastly I used the paint bucket tool to color the wheel and the text tool to label the colors.  As given in the lesson I  labeled my colors . During this project, I was not sure about what the names of the colors were .  At the conclusion of the lesson, my project was successful.  I feel like I did a good job. If I had more time, I would have been more detailed in labeling my colors.    Another way we could learn about this lesson would be to have my peers look at each other projects and watch more videos. Some suggestions that would help me do better with this assignment are: To see other people’s ideas and not waiting till the last minute.
